Identify the language of each item
A page should not be treated as Ukrainian solely because another record in the same file is. Mark Russian, English or other-language passages. Each combination needs its own assessment. Nor does a bilingual version guarantee identical later notes. Send fronts, marked reverse sides, seals and attachments so the recipient's actual requirement can be scoped.
An English version issued for convenience may clarify names but should not automatically replace the Ukrainian document. The source being certified must be identified. If a page is cropped or a note indistinct, a better copy is needed. A date or character cannot responsibly be inferred from a similar-looking record.
Names and academic files
Provide the Latin spelling in the passport or Spanish application. It is considered alongside the Cyrillic source and related records. Differences between certificates should not be quietly corrected. Translation reflects each document; the receiving organisation can advise how a discrepancy in identity records affects its procedure.

Qualifications, grades and supplements are translated with their source denominations and marks. Sworn translation does not itself establish academic equivalence. Send every item the institution requests and identify the definitive version. A later note on the reverse may matter despite an apparently complete main page.
Civil and company documents
Personal certificates, powers, agreements and minutes have different content needs. Legal translation examines powers, parties and annexes without turning a Ukrainian institution into a Spanish one with a different role. A company may change its name or representative between records; each piece keeps its own date and content.
Ukrainian translation without formal certification may suit internal understanding. Sworn form depends on the intended use and recipient's requirement. The presence of a seal does not impose the same service for every purpose. Share the receiving body's communication before ordering a particular presentation form.
Direction and use abroad
Ukrainian into Spanish and Spanish into Ukrainian are separate directions. For a Spanish procedure, appropriate authorisation and availability are checked. For a Spanish record going abroad, the foreign receiving body must confirm which translation or certification it accepts. Spanish sworn status offers no automatic guarantee in another country.
An apostille or legalisation of the underlying record, where required, is separate from translation. Ask which source needs it and at what stage. Include an existing authentication and say whether its wording must be translated. The professional's signature does not replace a distinct source formality.

Signature, delivery and quotation
The professional certifies under the applicable rules. Electronic signing may permit digital delivery if the proper method is used and the recipient accepts it. A printout of a signed PDF is not necessarily the electronic original. Tell us about paper, extra copies or dispatch before timing is confirmed.
Send full legible pages, each language present, issuing country, direction, recipient, deadline and medium. Supply name references and mark reissued records. Length, handwriting, seals and professional availability affect price and schedule. If the original changes, certification needs review against the definitive version.
Read about sworn translation and our quality process. Use the quote form to send the file and instructions. Where you first need to understand an item, a working translation can be scoped before the official assignment.
For certificates issued in different years, group pages by holder and date. A shared surname does not allow an annotation belonging to one person to be moved to another. Keeping the source sequence intact helps the receiving body decide which versions it wants without translation erasing the history of each record.
Frequently asked questions
What if a file contains Ukrainian and Russian?
We identify each page's language before quotation. Send every piece and the recipient's instructions. A Russian page is not certified as Ukrainian because it shares a file.
How is a Ukrainian name written in the translation?
Provide the Latin passport or application spelling. It is checked against the Cyrillic source. Document differences are queried, and an unclear character needs a better copy.
Can a Ukrainian diploma and grades be translated?
They can be assessed with all pages and supplements. The institution specifies what it needs and in what form. Translation does not grant academic equivalence.
Can an electronically signed file be supplied?
That depends on the professional and the receiving body's acceptance. Confirm whether it requires digital delivery or paper. A printout may not preserve the electronic original.
Is apostille on a certificate included?
Apostille of the source is separate where required by the recipient. Include an existing one so its wording can be assessed. Certification of the translation does not replace it.
