Legibility and connected records
Send fronts, marked reverse sides and attachments. A seal or marginal note may contain a date that changes how a certificate is read. If the copy is cropped or handwriting indistinct, a better file is needed; characters cannot responsibly be supplied from a likely reading. Identify the final document and any later correction.
An academic file may contain a qualification, grades and separate certificates. Translation conveys the source titles and marks without independently converting them into a Spanish system. The receiving organisation determines formal recognition. If several certificates belong to different people, group them by holder so a reference from one is not assigned to another.
Names and origin
Provide the Latin spelling in the passport or receiving file. It may differ from another record; a genuine discrepancy should not be silently removed. The issuing country provides context for institutional titles and date formats. An established transcription does not replace reading the Persian name where the source is clear. Both references are considered together.

A file may contain Persian alongside English or Arabic. Identify the passages the recipient requires. An English version might be a reading aid or a separately issued record, not an automatic equivalent of the Persian. The professional needs to know which source will be certified. Persian translation without formal certification can serve other purposes where the recipient has not requested sworn form.
Agreements and business documents
For a power of attorney, agreement or company file, send annexes and connected records. Legal translation examines powers, clauses and names without assigning a source-country institution the functions of a similarly named Spanish body. A signature or reference page can be essential despite containing little running text.
If the immediate purpose is to understand a transaction before deciding what to file, identify that preliminary task. A working translation does not acquire sworn status from a company's note. Where an authority requires certification, its instructions determine scope and delivery form.
Direction, signature and destination
Persian into Spanish and Spanish into Persian need separate confirmation. For a Spanish recipient we check authorisation and availability. For use of a Spanish document abroad, ask the foreign receiving body what translation or certification it accepts. Spanish sworn status is not a universal guarantee.

Electronic signing may be available where the professional uses the applicable method and the recipient accepts a digital file. A printout of a signed PDF is not automatically the electronic original. State paper, copy or dispatch needs before a schedule is fixed. Apostille or legalisation of the source, if required, is separate from translation. Include any existing authentication so its wording can be assessed.
Requesting an assessment
Share every legible page, countries of issue and use, direction, recipient, deadline and required medium. Include documented spellings of names and the body's procedural instructions. Notes, subject, volume and professional availability affect price and timing. If the source will change, identify the definitive version before certification.
Read about sworn translation and the quality process. Use the quote form to send the file. An initial enquiry helps separate a working translation from the certification actually required by the organisation.
For several certificates issued in different years, identify the one relevant to the present procedure and those supplied only as background. A variation in a surname or date should not be resolved by copying one record into another. The receiving body may ask for every source to be translated in full; its instructions prevent an older but still relevant note from being omitted. If a record contains an uncertain handwritten passage, the professional may need a better scan of that specific issue rather than a clear copy of a different certificate.
Frequently asked questions
How is a Persian name written in the sworn translation?
Provide the Latin form used in the passport or application and the complete Persian original. The professional considers both and queries differences. An unreadable character needs a clearer copy.
Can a handwritten Persian certificate be translated?
Legibility needs checking first. Send every page and seal at a useful resolution. Where the text is unclear, we ask for another file before confirming a certified scope.
Can an English version of the Persian file be used?
That depends on how it was produced and what the recipient requires. It may help as a reference, but does not automatically replace the Persian. Send both and identify the file to be submitted.
Is electronic signing possible?
It depends on the professional's form and recipient's acceptance. Confirm whether a digital file or paper is required. Printing the file may not preserve the signed electronic original.
Is apostille part of sworn translation?
They are separate processes. The recipient determines whether the source needs apostille or legalisation. Include an existing authentication so its text can be assessed for translation.
