Deeds, powers and representatives
Send the deed and every page the recipient needs, including stamps and marked reverse sides. Legal translation must preserve powers, dates, names and references without presenting an Italian notarial concept as a superficially similar Spanish one. If a company is involved, connected extracts can help establish its exact name and representatives.
A later amendment may change a power's scope. Identify the version to be filed. Clauses from different deeds should not be merged, and an unreadable figure should not be supplied from an older copy. A signature page with little running text may still be essential to understanding the certified record.
Civil and academic certificates
Italian certificates and qualifications can contain marginal notes, later changes and stamps. Send fronts and reverse sides with content. Translation conveys the source record; the recipient decides whether another procedure or recognition is needed. In an academic file, sworn translation itself does not determine equivalence of qualifications.

The closeness of Italian and Spanish does not remove false friends or differences in institutional roles. Italian translation without formal certification may better suit internal reading of an agreement or catalogue. If an authority requires sworn form, we need its instructions about direction, medium and accompanying records.
Direction and use in Italy
Italian into Spanish and Spanish into Italian are not interchangeable assumptions. We check the direction and availability relevant to Spanish sworn work. If a Spanish document will be filed in Italy, ask the Italian organisation which translation form it accepts. Spanish sworn certification does not automatically meet every formality requested there.
A file may contain English passages or Italian records with bilingual annotations. Mark what needs translating and identify the definitive source. A summary in another language is not guaranteed to contain every detail of the original. The quotation sets out the pages and directions actually involved.
Certification, medium and apostille
The authorised professional certifies and signs under the applicable rules. Electronic signing may enable digital delivery where the prescribed method is used and the recipient accepts that medium. A printout of a signed PDF should not automatically be treated as the electronic original. Tell us about paper copies or dispatch before a deadline is agreed.

Apostille or legalisation of the source, if required by the receiving body, is separate from translation. Include an existing apostille on the deed and ask whether its wording must be translated. No one form of authentication is presumed sufficient for every procedure, and translation cannot replace a missing source formality.
A proposal for the actual file
Send full legible pages, destination country and organisation, direction, deadline and delivery form. Explain how deeds and annexes relate. Company names, annotations, subject and professional availability affect the quotation. Where the source may change, identify the final version before certification.
Sworn translation explains the service and quality describes our checks. Use the quote form to send the file and the recipient's instructions. A working translation can be assessed separately if you first need to decide which record to file.
For an inheritance or property deed, distinguish documents mentioned in the text from attachments actually supplied. The receiving body may request both groups or only the principal record. A later registration note has its own date and relationship with the deed, which should remain clear. Include opening and closing pages even where they seem repetitive: they establish the act and show which signatures belong to that source. The final selection follows the organisation’s instructions, rather than an assumption made from the file name. Where several deeds cover a transaction, identify the one that will actually be filed.
Frequently asked questions
Can a complete Italian deed be translated?
We need the deed, annexes and pages with stamps or signatures. Tell us who will receive it and which pieces are required. An authorised professional's availability is checked for the exact direction.
Does similarity between Italian and Spanish simplify certification?
It does not change the required formalities or remove the need to check legal terms. Similar words can perform different functions. The file and its destination determine the work.
Will a Spanish sworn translation into Italian work in Italy?
That should not be assumed. Ask the Italian body which translation or certification it accepts. Its instructions determine whether the Spanish route is suitable.
Can an electronically signed deed translation be delivered?
That depends on the professional's method and recipient's acceptance. Confirm whether a digital file or paper is required. Printing a signed PDF may not preserve its electronic properties.
Should an apostille be sent with the deed?
Include an existing one so its wording can be assessed for translation. The recipient decides whether it is required. Apostille of the source and sworn translation are separate processes.
