Personal and company records
Civil certificates, qualifications, powers of attorney, agreements and corporate records may contain seals, reference numbers, notes and annexes. Send every page, including marked reverse sides. A cropped photograph cannot show whether a date or later annotation is missing. If a character is unclear, we ask for a better copy rather than reconstructing an identity detail from context.
Company files require consistent treatment of entities and representatives. Legal translation considers clauses and appointments without automatically giving a Chinese institution the name of a Spanish body. Share connected documents that will be submitted together. Chinese translation for negotiation or internal reading is distinct from sworn certification requested by a Spanish recipient.
Characters and established Latin spellings
Tell us which Latin spelling a person or business uses in its passport, registration or approved agreements. That form may be essential for linking the source to the receiving file. An indistinct character must not be assigned a likely reading, and names should not be adapted merely because another spelling looks familiar. Where the originals themselves vary, that difference needs consideration rather than silent removal.

Identify where the file was issued and provide clear images. Simplified and traditional Chinese characters affect how the source is read; they do not by themselves establish the availability of every sworn language direction. Mark any English or other-language sections that the recipient wants translated. Two versions appearing on a bilingual certificate may differ in details and should not be assumed identical.
Direction and country of use
Chinese into Spanish and Spanish into Chinese require separate assessment. For submission to a Spanish authority, we check authorisation and the requested form. For use in China or another destination, the local recipient should confirm which translation and certification it accepts. Spanish sworn status does not automatically satisfy foreign formalities.
A Chinese power of attorney may include an identity attachment or apostille in a different language. The full file and recipient's instructions establish scope. We do not describe an unidentified or unassessed passage as certified translation. Tell us whether the receiving body expects every attachment translated or only certain items.
Signature, delivery and authentication
Certification and signature are provided by the authorised professional under the applicable rules. Electronically signed delivery may be possible, subject to the professional's form and the body's acceptance. A printout of the signed PDF should not automatically be treated as equivalent to the electronic file. State any requirement for paper, copies or dispatch and the needed date so availability and costs can be considered.

Apostille or legalisation of the underlying document is separate from sworn translation. Ask the recipient whether it is needed and for which document. Include an existing apostille among the pages sent and specify whether its content must be translated. Certification of a translation cannot be promised as a substitute for authentication of its source.
A quotation based on the actual file
Send full pages, country of issue, established spellings of names, direction, receiving body and deadline. Include any communication about file format or presentation. Unclear characters, annexes and seals affect scope and timing. A proposal follows examination of the content and professional availability for the direction.
Our sworn translation page covers the general service, and quality explains the checks. Use the quote form to share the documents. If you first need a working version to decide what to submit, describe that as a separate task from final certification.
Frequently asked questions
Does simplified or traditional Chinese matter?
Yes, for identifying and reading the source. Send all pages and the place of issue. The script alone does not establish sworn availability for every direction or presentation form.
How will a Chinese name be written in Latin letters?
Provide the spelling used in a passport, registry or connected application. It is considered alongside the characters and related records. An unreadable character calls for a better copy.
Can a Spanish sworn translation be submitted in China?
There is no general guarantee. The receiving body at the destination should specify its accepted certification and format. Its instructions determine whether the Spanish form is suitable.
Is an electronically signed PDF available?
That depends on the professional's form and the recipient's acceptance. Confirm whether an electronic file or paper is required. Printing the file does not automatically preserve its electronic signature.
Does sworn translation include apostille?
They are separate steps. Ask the receiving body whether the original needs authentication. Include any existing apostille so its wording can be assessed for translation.
